I can't thank Pete enough for 'fixing' two injuries that I sustained in 2012! Pete assessed my injuries and after 3 visits, for each injury, I had full mobility again. I wish I'd have visited him sooner, instead of taking medication for months.... Many thanks Pete :-).

Michael Davies - 17 January 2013

I injured my kne whilst on a climb up Mount Snowdon 18 months ago, I contiued to carry the injury hoping it would go away but it didn't. After 2 sessions with Peter the knee is 100% better and looking forward to the next walk.

I've suffered with pain in my shoulder and arm for 7 weeks. I was unable to lift my arm above my head or behind my back and was struggling to sleep. I've recently had 3 treatments to alleviate pain in my shoulder/arm with Pete and now feel 'fixed'!! I definitely recommend Pete Roberts and will be visiting him for future holistic treatments.

Rod Savage - 28 November 2012

Peter Roberts is unquestoinably a most knowledgeable sports masseur who also practices what he preaches providing the highest level of treatment. He finds the problems (without neccesarily being told) and then proceeeds to massage deep into the tissue areas where the problems are. I am part way through a course of treatments which have already provided more flexibility in my neck and shoulder movements, my calves no longer feel like rigid steel rods and my lower back is also benefitting from his techniques and understanding of symptoms and muscle and tissue repair. I'm past the age of competitive sport, but for anyone who wants to be at the peak of their fitness or chosen sport, Pete should be a part of your health programme. And for those of us who are starting to creak, a visit to Pete is well worth it! - Rod Savage.

Mike Wright - 24 Nov 2012

Pete's knowledge and expertise got me through 'Tough Mudder' 2012, I was really struggling with an injury that pete diagnosed and treated, without Pete's therapies I would have not been able to effectively train and compete. Pete's experience and commitment to training gave me invaluable advice which not only improved my overall fitness but also motivated me into achieving my goals. His no nonsense approach was refreshing and reassuring.

Both my wife and myself have visited with Groin and back injuries. In each case Peters skill / ability / and shear determination to cure our ailments meant we both left very, very happy - 100% success rate, good communications and timekeeping mean you wont get better value for money.

Kate Morris - 27 February 2012

Extremely happy with my treatment, the therapist was very knowledgable and went straight to my problem as if by magic! great to finally find someone who understands and can help my problem.

Sharon Inch - 27 Nov 2011

I contacted Peter as I had suffered a stiff and sore neck for about 6 weeks. Movemement was becoming restricted and it was waking me in the night. On my first session Peter diagnosed an injury around the shoulder and said that three sessions would clear it. And it did! He is now working old injuries on lower back and hips. It can be very uncomfortable, particularly for a couple of days after, but it is worth it. I have recommended Peter to many friends and colleagues, and will continue to visit when the pain has gone, just for a damn good massage! Keep up the good work Peter.

Siobhan Heugh - 20 Nov 2011

I came to Peter during my marathon training after having injuries such as very painful shin splints and knee trouble. My legs were in a bad way and it looked doubtful that I'd be running the event. Peter got me through with regular massage therapy and gave me so much advice that I ran my first marathon in 4:16 which was much better than expected. I am still going for regular massage to keep my legs from becoming injured again during my training. His prices are very competitive and his treatments make all the difference.

Steve Poole - 20 Nov 2011

I have been treated by a chiropractor for a number of years, with only limited relief due to a problem with my lower back. I luckily spoke to a friend who recommended Peter. On the first session Peter identified the root cause of my back problem, which gave me almost instant relief, I have just completed my third treatment session and I feel no back pain at all. Peter carried out each session professionally , he is very knowledgeable and friendly. I would recommend Peter to anyone. Thanks for your help

Mike Parker - 2 May 2011

Hi Peter, Its Mike Parker. I came to see you the 12th July with a hamstring problem (I was recommended by Paul ONeils). I have now played 4 games & completed every training session after the treatment you gave me. My hamstring is now better but I will still continue to do the things you told me. Thanks very much & I will defiantly come to see you again if injured. Thanks again Mike. (Prestayn Football Club Wales Premiere League).

Pete Morgan - 18 Apr 2011

Im a firefighter, so my fitness is important to me and my job. After straining my shoulders and 7, unsuccessful physio sessions with another physio, I decided to try Pete at PR Sports therapy I have only had one session up to now but what a difference. I found him knowlegable and friendly. I have just booked my second session, and am looking forward to getting back in the gym!I have also booked my girlfriend in for a shoulder problem that she has carried for a while! Highly rated!

J White - 16 Mar 2011

I have run the London Marathon twice in the last 3 years. My first attempt was plagued with a recurring calf injury. I contacted Peter around 6 weeks before I was due to race. A combination of ultra-sound, massage and stretching exercises (all administered by Peter) got me through against the odds. Next time around I booked weekly sessions with Peter where his preventative sports massages have helped me avoid injury ensuring an uninterrupted build up. His prices are incredibly competitive and I would strongly recommend Peter to ensure you can participate in sport injury free.

Stephanie - 20 Nov 2010

Janice Ash - 13 Jul 2010

I thoroughly enjoyed the Indian Head Massage by Peter Roberts. I used to have migraine headaches and Indian Head Massages were recommended; Pete's was one of the best I've had and no one else has matched him since. Not only did Pete clearly explain what he was going to do, he performed the massage professionally and with great care. He also made sure that I was completely comfortable with what he was doing - some therapists don't realise how nervous some clients get. He obviously enjoys what he does and is passionate about his craft. I would definitely recommend Peter to others; he actually listens to you! Janice Ash

Paul O'Neill - 12 Jul 2010

I am a former professional footballer of 7 years and more recently have combined full time employment with a semi-professional career. Having experienced numerous massage practitioners during my sporting life, I can honestly say that Peter Roberts is by far the best sports massage therapist that I have had. I started seeing Peter for a one-off treatment around 9 months ago and have continued to use him on a weekly basis ever since. During the time I have been treated by Peter, I have suffered less injuries and found that I have recovered more quickly after games. In addition to providing a high level of professionalism, on a personal level Peter is highly approachable with a good sense of humour and bedside manner. I have recommended Peter to several of my team-mates who have also been highly impressed with him and would have no hesitation in recommending him to others requiring quality sports massage. Michelle Hayes - 10 Jul 2010

I found Peter purely by accident and have recommended him to a few of my colleagues also suffering with whiplash and back injuries etc. I was amazed by the difference I felt after just 1 visit, I wish I had discovered him earlier and not wasted wasted 3 months with various Osteopaths and "salon" masseurs etc. He is a true miracle worker and I wouldn't be without his number. Thanks Peter. Michelle - Frodsham, Cheshire

I am currently British benchpress champion in the 90kg class. I had an elbow and back injury. The elbow injury turned out to be tennis elbow and Pete used ice massage and now my elbow is right as rain. My back injury was sciatic nerve which was harder to treat. Through a combination of massage, ice massage and stretches my back was sorted in around 5 sessions. Through Pete’s expertise I was able to train and win Northwest benchpress on 11/10/09 with a winning lift of 220kg

Jake - Oct 14, 2009

Hi, my name is Jake, I had a shoulder injury and my friend recommended me mr Piter Roberts as physiotherapist. I had three sesions with him about one hour every each and after that the problem has been resolved. I’ve back to very hard training and dont have any more problem with my shoulder. Very recommended. Thx Pete.?

Deb Riley - Sep 20, 2009

I have known Peter for approximately a year now. He was recommended to me by a colleague who had recently been treated by him for similar symptoms. I suffer with chronically tight muscles mostly in my lower back, hips and legs possibly as a result of many years of playing sports, poor posture, etc. Although Peter has been a great help in treating the above problems, I have continued to see him on a regular basis for maintenance/preventative treatments. As a result, I feel so much better and have significantly reduced my visits to the Osteopath. Over the course of the year, Peter has used many different treatments on me including traditional sports massage, ice treatment, ultrasound, inversion table, stretches, etc. He has also advised me on appropriate aftercare such as application of heat and/or ice following treatment in addition to the provision of printouts of exercises and stretches for me to do between treatments. I am always impressed by Peter’s knowledge. He has a thirst for the subject of sports injuries and treatments and continues to further this by his ongoing research into the latest theories and treatments. I find Peter very professional, trustworthy and would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone I felt he could help.
